Tire Conversion Systems
For several decades pyrolysis of scrap tires was used to convert scrap tires into oil and gas as well as low market value char. These early solutions represented Generation 1 of the Scrap Tire Conversion Technologies. An effort has been made to produce quality carbon black from the char but the carbon black produced was of lower grade and can only be used as filler for low value rubber products.
